A full-time week in the UK is usually 37.5 or 40 hours. Paid holiday is included in a salary, so keep 52 weeks unless you are paid only for the weeks you work.
Part-time and holiday pay
Full-time workers are entitled to 5.6 weeks of paid holiday a year, which is 28 days for a five-day week. Part-time workers get the same number of weeks, pro rata to their hours. If you are paid by the hour and your employer rolls holiday pay into your rate, it is usually 12.07% of the hours you work.
To compare a salaried job with an hourly one, convert both to the same basis. A salary of £30,000 works out at £15.38 an hour on 37.5 hours a week, but at £14.42 on a 40-hour week. Always check which hours your employer counts before comparing offers.
